Described as “one of the most unique and exciting events of the year”, the Tribeca Pool It is held annually to celebrate emerging artists at the Academy of Arts.
According to the official website, the evening’s proceeds go towards the school’s scholarship and public programs.
This year, the Tribeca Ball honored illustrator Amy Sherald, who is known for conveying the African American experience through stunning canvases.
