Brittney Saunders complained about being ‘robbed’ at the 2024 TikTok Awards after failing to take home one of the top gongs.

The millionaire businessman had been nominated for TikTok Business of the Year at the annual ceremony, which was held at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on Wednesday night.

However, the CEO and founder of fashion brand Fayt did not take home the award, which was ultimately awarded to influencer Kat Clark, co-founder of skincare brand Kaladé.

Brittney took to Instagram after the glitzy ceremony, where Bridey Drake was also named TikTok Creator of the Year, to jokingly comment that her win was “stolen” from her.

Sharing a meme-worthy close-up of her disappointed expression, she wrote in a caption: “Robbed twice in one week xx.”

Brittney also took to her Stories to share a video of herself talking about her loss after arriving home, happily saying she was “disappointed” she didn’t give a victory speech.

“Now I’m going to take off my jewelry completely disappointed, just kidding,” she said.

“We’re the real winners, I’ll tell you why, because we have a whole cheese board that we didn’t have before we left, so who’s really winning?” Are.’

Brittney admitted she had prepared a speech in case of her win, but insisted she was happy to be nominated, as she insisted her previous Instagram post had been a “joke”.

“It was an honor to be nominated, there were only five people nominated in each category, so the fact that we were up there was an honor,” she continued.

‘I would also like to say that I am not really discouraged and that there are no hard feelings, I know I made that post before (…).

“Awards are fun and great and whatever, but at the end of the day, nothing changes for whoever wins or loses an award, everything stays the same.”

“I’m bummed because I had a nice little speech planned, but I get to give a speech here every day anyway,” she joked.

In the Business of the Year category, Brittney also faced off against jewelry business owner Jasmine Hand, blogger Brooke Saward and Chebbo’s Burgers owner Ali Chebbani.
