Brittany Mahomes is ‘deeply upset’ by Donald Trump’s very public attack on her close friend Taylor Swift, according to sources who claim the Kansas City Chiefs WAG is questioning her support for the former president.
Brittany, who has been married to Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes since 2022, sparked a liberal meltdown last month when she liked a post about Trump, 78, on social media.
Weeks later, Taylor, 34, publicly endorsed Kamala Harris for president, a move that generated 338,000 views on the federal voter registration website after she shared a link on Instagram.
Trump responded in predictably vitriolic style on his Truth Social platform, stating “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,” prompting Brittany, 29, to “question” whether she will continue to support his campaign.
‘He is questioning his support for Donald Trump after he lashed out at Taylor, saying he hated her,’ a source revealed exclusively to DailyMail.com.
Brittany Mahomes has been left “deeply upset” by Donald Trump’s public attack on her close friend Taylor Swift and is reluctant to show her support for the former president.
Taylor, 34, publicly endorsed Kamala Harris’s presidential bid, weeks after Brittany was spied liking posts about the Trump campaign.
‘This deeply upset Brittany because Taylor is like a sister to her and has done absolutely nothing wrong.
‘She did not mention Trump in her post and is allowed to speak her mind.’
The source added that Trump’s decision to react in such a hateful manner upset Brittany.
“She doesn’t believe in hate in any form and loves Taylor very much,” the source continued. “This shook her to her core.”
They added: “This doesn’t mean she’s suddenly voting for Kamala. It’s just made her more conscious of supporting him so publicly.”
In August, Eagle-eyed users caught the soon-to-be mother of three liking a post by Trump outlining 16 of his policies for his 26.3 million followers, from immigration to the economy.
This comment sparked a lot of outrage among liberals on social media, and Brittany seemed to respond vehemently to her critics.
“I mean honestly to be a hater as an adult you must have some deep-seated issues that you refuse to heal from childhood,” she wrote on her Instagram Story.

Brittany, 29, who has been married to Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes since 2022, sparked a liberal meltdown last month when she liked a post about Trump on social media.
Fans feared Brittany’s apparent endorsement of Trump’s policies could lead to awkward tension with her fellow Chiefs WAG, who has publicly expressed her disdain for Trump.
‘There’s no reason you have to have a fully developed brain and hate watching others do it well.’
Following the Sept. 10 presidential debate, Taylor revealed in a lengthy Instagram post that she would be voting for Kamala in November.
She did not personally attack or criticize Trump, but signed her support for Harris with: ‘The childless cat lady.’
It’s a reference to Trump’s running mate, Sen. J.D. Vance, who said in a 2021 interview with Tucker Carlson that the United States is being run by Democrats, corporate oligarchs and “a bunch of childless, cat-loving women who are miserable with their own lives and the choices they’ve made and so they want to make the rest of the country miserable, too.”
Taylor also encouraged her millions of followers to research the election and register to vote with a link she shared to vote.gov on her Instagram Story by sharing her grid post.
Hundreds of thousands of people (more than 338,000) clicked on the link in Swift’s story.
More than 11 million people liked the image Swift posted of herself with one of her three cats named after fictional character Benjamin Button.
It remains to be seen whether Taylor will reunite in a luxury box with Brittany during the current season, with the pair sitting in separate suites for the final two games (pictured from last season).
But Taylor and Brittany made it clear that they have no bad blood by attending the US Open with their partners.
Fans feared Brittany’s apparent endorsement of Trump’s policies could lead to awkward tension with fellow Chiefs WAG Taylor, who has publicly expressed her disdain for Trump in the past.
While they have since been spotted together attending the US Open with their partners and were at Patrick’s 29th birthday party this weekend, Taylor has not been photographed in the same suite as Brittany at any Chiefs games this season.
On Sunday, Taylor returned to Arrowhead Stadium and was separated from Brittany for the second week in a row despite the fact that they had previously been united in cheering on their men last season.
Taylor, who has been dating tight end Travis Kelce since last year, arrived at the game earlier in the day with her mother Andrea, brother Austin and singer Danielle Haim.
While Taylor wasn’t with Brittany for the Chiefs’ Week 2 win, he was with Chariah Gordon, the fiancée of wide receiver Mecole Hardman.
Chariah could be seen celebrating with the pop star in a suite as Kansas City moved ahead 2-0.
She too shared two photos of them on Instagram, showing the couple posing with Sheawna Weatherby, the wife of Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones.
