With Brittany Mahomes caught in the middle of a feud between her friend, Taylor Swift, and her preferred presidential candidate, Donald Trump, the wife of Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes posted a cryptic message on her Instagram Story.

As the November elections approach, political tension in the United States is among the highest in the country’s history.

It has become so divisive that some believed it would drive a wedge in the friendship between Swift and Brittany Mahomes.

Seemingly spontaneously, Brittany took to her Instagram Story on Thursday and posted a quote from another account.

The quote read: “I know the reason why people believe in beautiful souls, kind hearts and good energy.” Never stop being a good person.’

This comes as Mahomes (left) and Taylor Swift (right) squash rumors of a breakup in their friendship.

Despite their different political views, it appears that Brittany and Taylor remain friends, and DailyMail.com’s sources previously reported that there is no bad blood between the two.

Another source exclusively told DailyMail.com that they “respect that they have different views” and have made a “pact” to avoid talking politics in August.

The crux of the situation came in mid-September, when Swift publicly endorsed Harris for president after a debate between the vice president and former President Trump.

That prompted Trump to post on his Truth Social account: ‘I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!’ in capital letters.

Swift’s endorsement post garnered more than 11 million likes on Instagram and reportedly generated more than 330,000 visits to Vote.gov, a federal voter registration site that Swift linked to in her post.

Trump had criticized Swift before her ‘HATE’ post, saying he likes ‘Mrs. Mahomes much better’, referring to Brittany.

It has been inferred that Brittany supports Trump after she liked a post from his campaign’s Instagram account, sparking reactions from both sides of the aisle.

Rumors of a split grew even more the more Swift appeared at Kansas City Chiefs games, as she has not been seen with Mahomes in the luxury box.

Swift and Mahomes have not sat next to each other in any of the Chiefs' games this season.

However, the two have attended several social gatherings together, including Patrick Mahomes’ 29th birthday party and the US Open men’s singles tennis final in early September.

The tension in the country around the elections has been accentuated by two assassination attempts on Donald Trump.

First, Trump was shot in the ear on July 13 at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. His injuries were not life-threatening, but one man in the crowd, Corey Comperatore, 50, died. The shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks, was eventually killed by Secret Service snipers.

In September, a second botched murder occurred when Ryan Wesley Routh was found and arrested outside Trump’s club in West Palm Beach, Florida. The former president was not injured.

As for Swift, it’s been a few Sundays since she appeared at an NFL game in which her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, was playing.

He missed the Week 3 Sunday Night Football contest in Atlanta and then missed the Week 4 game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Swift has only attended home games so far this season, so it’s possible he’ll be at Arrowhead Stadium when the Chiefs host the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football.
