Patrick Mahomes’ wife took to Instagram on Thursday to share four photos from her recent Sports Illustrated swimsuit shoot.
She showed off her toned figure as she sported a barely-there red bikini with matching strappy bottoms.
However, it was the caption accompanying the photo that left some fans scratching their heads.
“Daily reminder: take care of your body. Your health is important,” she wrote.

Many fans criticized the apparent rhetoric that thinness equals health.
“We love a strong and healthy Queen, but it’s so important to remember that this isn’t normal, most women don’t look like this, nor do they have unlimited access to trainers, fitness coaches, gyms and supplements to look like this,” wrote one fan.
The commenter continued: ‘Let’s let Brittany show her love for herself, which is okay, while reminding all the other women that healthy comes in all shapes and sizes.’
Another chimed in: “Daily reminder: you don’t have to look like this to be healthy!”
A third echoed the same sentiment: “These images have nothing to do with being healthy.”

The couple announced they are expecting a third child together in a joint post last month.
