Brittany Hockley reveals heartbreaking news about her new boyfriend, Swiss footballer Benjamin Siegrist
Brittany Hockley revealed on Thursday that she and new boyfriend Benjamin Siegrist won’t see each other again until Christmas as she returns to Australia for work.
The 36-year-old podcaster looked heartbroken as she told friends she would have to spend three months away from the 31-year-old Swiss footballer who lives in Scotland.
Relaying the sad news on her Instagram Stories, she said the lovebirds had commitments in their own home country and had to travel long distances again.
“We won’t see each other again until Christmas,” she said during a Q&A when a fan asked when she would next spend time with her goalie pal.
“So we won’t see each other again for three months now, which is the longest we’ve gone without seeing each other.”
Brittany Hockley, 36 (right) revealed on Thursday that she and her new boyfriend Benjamin Siegrist, 31 (left) would not see each other again until Christmas as she returned to Australia for work.
She continued: “We said we would have an eight-week maximum rule, but our jobs don’t allow it.”
That’s when Benjamin entered the frame to show Brittany some affection, adding: “I’m sure Ben would love an Australian Christmas.”
“But the football players here play and practice on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve – it’s not really a holiday here .”

The podcaster was heartbroken when she told friends she would have to spend three months away from the Swiss footballer who lives in Scotland.
Brittany went on to say that she would be returning to Scotland at Christmas with family and friends so she could celebrate Hogmanay with Benjamin.
Hogmanay is the Scottish word for the last day of the year and is synonymous with celebrating the New Year the Scottish way.
This comes after Brittany recently shared intimate details about her long-distance relationship with new Swiss footballer boyfriend Benjamin Siegrist.

Relaying the sad news on her Instagram Stories, she said the lovebirds had commitments in their own home country and had to travel long distances again.
The reality star revealed on her radio show in February that she kept her romance going by sending Benjamin “sexy photos.”
“I’m in a brand new long distance relationship. My new boyfriend, he’s Swiss and lives in Scotland,” she explained.
“So when you’re in a long-distance relationship, you have to keep things spicy.”
“You’re going to take a sexy little photo.” But I always send them as a disappearing photo, he receives them for a hot second and that’s enough.
