Brittany Cartwright has been “hanging out” more than ever with a new man, and her fans on social media have started talking about both of them.
The 35-year-old former Vanderpump Rules star and former Bachelorette suitor Tanner Courtad have been enjoying time together lately, and Brittany has been noticeably “happier lately,” a source exclusively told DailyMail.com.
While the two began sparking romance rumors after appearing together in multiple Instagram photos, Brittany’s ex-husband Jax Taylor checked himself into a mental health facility earlier this week.
DailyMail.com has reached out to representatives for Brittany and Tanner for comment.
“Brittany and Tanner have been hanging out together,” the source said, adding that the two met when they both attended a Bachelorette viewing party on July 15 held at Jax’s Studio City, the Los Angeles sports bar that she and her husband collaborated on with the owners of Rocco’s Tavern.

The party they attended was hosted by Bachelorette season 20 star Charity Lawson, who the source says is good friends with Tanner and helped introduce him and Brittany.
It wasn’t a one-time experience, and Brittany and Tanner returned for the following week’s Bachelorette watch party.
The source adds that Tanner has since been “accompanying Brittany on the set of The Valley.”
Most recently, “they filmed at Dave and Busters with the rest of the cast for Janet’s (Caperna) birthday.”
In addition to several photos of the two hanging out in groups that were posted on Instagram, DailyMail.com also obtained exclusive photos of the two spending time together at a sports bar while grinning from ear to ear.
Neither Brittany nor Tanner have said whether they are dating, but Instagram commenters who saw it seemed to think something was going on between the two.
A post on Jax’s Studio City account on July 23 noted that Brittany had hosted a viewing party with “special guest @tannercourtad, who showed up from #bachelornation.”
One user commented: “I hope that hot guy standing next to Brittany is her date. Girl oh girl I hope you move on and find a real man. I pray for you.”

The two have not confirmed the romance rumors, but fans have spotted them together. “I hope that hot guy next to Brittany is her date,” one fan wrote on Instagram. “Girl I hope you move on and find a real man. I pray for you.”
Her Brittany’s Valley co-star Zack Wickham jokingly replied, “Yeah,” but another fan pointed out that she’s been spending time with some new faces.
“Not a single person we know in the big picture. You gotta make some new friends,” they wrote, before leaving a warning: “Watch out for Jax.”
The original commenter responded again: “You guys (and Kristen Doute) make a beautiful couple. Seriously though, get her ready. I’m rooting for her.”
As rumors of a romance between Brittany and Tanner spread, her ex-husband Jax has been working on himself by checking himself into a mental health facility.
Jax, 45, confirmed the news in his own words on Wednesday with a touching Instagram post for his son Cruz.
The former Vanderpump Rules star shared a sweet photo of himself holding the three-year-old, whom he shares with Brittany, while giving him a kiss on the cheek.
“I’m working on getting better for you, my friend. I love you ,” she lovingly wrote in the caption.
Cruz seemed happy to spend some time with his father, as he flashed a soft smile for the camera while munching on an apple.
Jax, 45, confirmed he had checked himself into a mental health facility on Wednesday with a sweet post in which he said he was “working on getting better” for his three-year-old son, Cruz (pictured).
He shares Cruz with his ex-wife Brittany (pictured in April 2024 at the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner as guests of DailyMail.com), from whom he separated in February 2024.
On Tuesday, a representative for Jax shared with TMZ who was “seeking hospital treatment” for “mental health issues.”
“Jax has always been open about his mental health struggles, especially over the past few months on his podcast,” they shared.
“He has made the decision to seek hospital treatment. This is an especially sensitive time for him and his family. They ask for privacy and respect until he is ready to speak further on this matter.”
The decision to seek help came after a worrying visit by police to the home where Jax had lived with Brittany for some time following their split in February, though he later moved into an Airbnb after tensions between the two became too high to overcome.
He was reportedly seen speaking to police officers, who were carrying a brown envelope, before heading to the gym to work out.
Earlier this month, DailyMail.com revealed that the California Franchise Tax Board had placed a lien on their $1.9 million home in Los Angeles in the amount of $35,239.88.
The tax lien was filed on June 12 of this year.
Brittany previously said that she was responsible for all of the household bills, while Jax was the one who took care of the mortgage payments.
DailyMail.com contacted Cartwright’s representatives at the time, who declined to comment.
According to documents detailing the lien, “further interest and fees will accrue” until it is paid in full.
On Tuesday, a rep for Jax shared with TMZ that he was “seeking inpatient treatment” for “mental health issues.”

The couple’s $1.9 million Los Angeles home was hit with a $35,000 tax lien in June.
Last month, Jax detailed some of the strategies he and Brittany were working on in hopes of saving their marriage, including therapy, on his podcast When Reality Hits.
Brittany and Jax’s relationship dates back to 2015, but hit a roadblock in 2017 when he admitted to having an affair with his Vanderpump Rules co-star Faith Stowers.
The couple eventually reconciled and got engaged the following year, before tying the knot in Kentucky in 2019. They welcomed little Cruz in 2021.
Following their dismissal from Vanderpump Rules in 2020, the couple began documenting the dissolution of their marriage earlier this year on the spinoff series The Valley, which also stars another Vanderpump Rules alum, Kristen Doute.
