Days after filing for divorce from Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright is moving forward with a night out with friends.
The 35-year-old reality star, who was thrilled to reunite with her ex-husband, 45, during a photo shoot for her TV show The Valley on Friday, flashed a big smile as she left Craig’s restaurant.
The Kentucky native wore a form-fitting cornflower blue dress with green trim and a plunging neckline. She stepped out in matching high-heeled sandals.
The former Vanderpump Rules star’s makeup looked natural, with a soft pink lip. Her long, blonde hair was styled in loose layers.
The former waitress was carrying a small Louis Vuitton handbag.

A photo shared to Cartwright’s Instagram Stories revealed she spent the night dining and drinking with her The Valley co-star Janet Caperna, 34, and This Side of the Hill podcast host Jared Lipscomb.
Caperna looked relaxed in a navy blazer and low-cut camisole.
Lipscomb looked dapper in a navy and white striped button-down shirt.
As she left the restaurant, reporters asked her if the “divorce was real,” Cartwright said she decided to end the marriage because “I’d had enough. I had to make sure everything was okay. We have a child together.”
“Hopefully we can be good parents together. That’s the goal for now.”
She declined to say whether she was ready to date again.
Cartwright and her soon-to-be ex have been co-hosting their own podcast When Reality Hits, but with the change in relationship status, changes are coming to the show as well.
The couple will have equal custody of the podcast. “From now on, Jax and I will be doing the podcast separately,” she told viewers on the Friday, August 30, episode while addressing her decision to file for divorce.

The former couple married in 2019 and are parents to a son, Cruz, 3. Cartwright has requested primary legal and physical custody of the child.
Neither she nor Taylor have spoken publicly about their split, as those details will be included in the second season of The Valley, which is currently in production.
“You’ll see how it all plays out once the show airs, but I’ll tell you this: This season has been the hardest I’ve ever had to film,” Cartwright said. “I never imagined I would go through something so personal and painful with the world watching.”
