Officers then decided to stop by Britney’s $7.4 million mansion for a welfare check.

Officers confirmed that the pop singer was doing well and left her home shortly afterwards. However, other sources told the network that “several people called the police after Britney posted the knife video…”

TMZ later reported that the call was made Wednesday by the LAPD Smart Team – a mental evaluation unit. Authorities went to the star’s home after the caller assured them she wasn’t just a fan.

Britney’s attorney then contacted deputies after the welfare check, and authorities explained that they visited Britney’s home because the caller knew the singer.
