Britney Spears says she’s ‘too tiny and weak’ to post more racy Instagram photos after starting intermittent fasting – and claims the diet has taken her to a new ‘spiritual dimension’

Britney Spears has entered a new ‘spiritual dimension’ – and it’s all thanks to her latest diet.

The 42-year-old announced on Friday that she has started intermittent fasting after reading Stephen Harrod Buhner’s The Transformational Power of Fasting: The Way to Spiritual, Physical and Emotional Rejuvenation.

“It might make you feel weak for a few days, but then you get naturally high from all the toxins being released… I actually feel a little too small and weak to even think about shooting for Instagram right now now,” she wrote.

“But honestly, I like this spiritual dimension that I’m on … I think we all have our level of prayer … I think I’ve experienced pretty low levels, but also those highest levels,” she continued.

‘It’s cleansing at its ultimate and going into your body and mind to find your most enlightened state of consciousness feels so good!!!’

On Thursday, the singer, 42, showed off her figure as she posed topless on a private beach, protecting her modesty with red emojis edited into the risque images.

Unlike her previous cheeky snaps, this time she was seen facing the camera and barely covering her private parts.

On the same day, she also shared a video of herself looking back and flipping her hair ‘so you can see the pictures are real’.

She captioned it alongside several flower emojis, admitting that ‘the video is a bit blurry though!!!’

In the photos, Spears left her long blonde hair in effortlessly tousled beachy waves.

She also opted out of any makeup to showcase her natural beauty.

The Toxic singer wore nothing but a black lace choker and silver hoop earrings.

The photos appeared to be throwbacks as she previously posted nearly identical photos during her French Polynesia getaway in October 2023.

Britney opened up about why she often shares nude photos of herself on Instagram in her memoir The Woman In Me.

“I know a lot of people don’t understand why I love taking pictures of myself naked or in new dresses,” she wrote.

‘But I think if they had been photographed by other people thousands of times, crammed and posed for other people’s approval, they would understand that I get a lot of pleasure from posing the way I feel sexy and take my own image.’
