Bali is Indonesia’s most popular island, known for its picturesque beaches and nightlife, which attract crowds of young travelers.
But tourists have recently gone viral on social media complaining about the island paradise, specifically the “horrible traffic” in the tourist hotspot of Kuta.
A British travel influencer racked up views for warning her followers about the destination by filming busy roads and littered beaches.

In her first video, posted last week, Corrin said: “Everyone says come to Bali, it’s an amazing place to come, I honestly absolutely hate it, look at this,” while pointing the camera at the chaotic traffic.
He adds: “There’s traffic everywhere, look how busy it is, it’s horrible, you can’t even move, you can’t even cross the street.”
‘You are at a zebra crossing and everyone is still passing by. You are literally about to feel run over – the traffic is unbearable and I have never seen anything like it in my life.
“Honestly, it’s changed my entire perspective.”
In another videoshows viewers Kuta Beach, which is littered with trash, and asks why people “don’t show” this side of the area.”
The TikTok has already been viewed by more than 680,000 people, and viewers are divided in the comments.
Walking on the sand, he tells the camera: “I just arrived at Kuta Beach and obviously I know that in my last post I was a little negative.”
“But unfortunately, I did a lot of research in terms of TikTok and Googling before I came up here in terms of where to go, and this place came up, so I really wanted to try it.”

This hotspot, now built up and crowded, is also known for its festive atmosphere and for being the place where tourism in Bali began.
“Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with the result – just look at this.”
Frustrated, she angrily explains, “There’s literally trash all along the entire boardwalk, like it’s literally all over the road, what the fuck?”
‘Why don’t people show you this? And I’m sorry, I’m really sorry to be the person to explain it or tell it, but when I’m looking to book something and I want to make sure that there are good reviews, that there are good places to go.
‘Why does no influencer or anyone tell me, on TikTok or anything, that the beaches were like that?
‘Because this is not what I want. I want something that is beautiful, relaxing, that the beaches are beautiful, but it is not.
“The beaches are absolutely horrible, what the fuck is this?”
More recently it has become famous for its heavy traffic, often seeing hundreds of motorbikes and cars lined up along the streets.
One viewer argued: ‘Girls, you are in a third world country and if you had done so much research you would see that Kuta is unfortunately like that. Lembongan, Ubud, Susan Dua. The beach where Mari Beach Club is beautiful’.
Another advised: “Try Uluwatu, there are lots of nice beaches. Kuta is only good for the shopping centre, it’s more like the Benidorm of Bali.”
Someone else admitted: “I feel like I had the same experience as you in Bali – I absolutely hated how dirty and run down it was.” It’s not what you see on the Internet.’
Others asked: ‘Why go to Kuta?’ and ‘I never understood all the fuss about Bali, thanks for sharing.’
Kuta, located in Badung Regency in the south of Bali, is a magnet for surfers thanks to its high waves.

It comes just after another tourist went on a furious rant criticizing Bali for its horrible traffic and taking aim at influencers for encouraging anyone to go there.
Richard Monckton uploaded a series of TikToks in which he alternated between calling the entire island ‘fucking poop’ and praising the locals for their hospitality.
What sparked Monckton’s initial tirade on Wednesday was Kuta’s notoriously chaotic traffic, saying it “stressed him out” and adding that he drastically preferred Thailand.
