The shipping police in St Lucia has sought to find Mr. Boughton.
A source near the investigation said that Mr. Boughton was last seen on a rubber dinghy leaving Rodney Bay Marina.
It is assumed that Mr. Boughton came in on Thursday afternoon and drank drinks at one of the bars in the marina, along with other sailors who came on a mega yacht.
When they finished their drink, Mr. Boughton reportedly fell outside on a sidewalk.
Some asked Mr. Boughton, who had got out of trouble, to be put in a room for the night.
Yet he would have been helped to his dinghy, which had been started for him before he left the port of the marina. He has not been seen since.
