British Museum evacuated amid reports of stabbing

Ms Renee, a journalist who was at the British Museum in London this morning, told The Telegraph there are reports of a stabbing and that she saw paramedics arrive.

She said: “I was on the scene, I heard someone was stabbed and the ambulance was parked inside near the grassy area and then it ran down the street, right next to me, with a policeman behind. A policeman told me that the museum is completely closed until tomorrow.”

Keira Renee, a journalist for the Financial Times, tweeted: “I was waiting in line to get in… Police told me it’s a big crime scene and the museum will be closed until tomorrow.”

The British Museum in central London has been evacuated today following reports of a stabbing.
