It is not clear whether the Brit, who is not mentioned, was on vacation or lived in the area.

Allegedly several people are stuck by the fire.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.

La Alcaidesa is a gated community near Sotogrande, Spain, in the Andalusian province of Cadiz.

The residential area where the fire took place is 15 minutes’ drive from Gibraltar and very close to Sotogrande, where Prince Andrew spent time this summer.

Alcaidesa has two golf courses, making it a popular destination for golf enthusiasts.
