A daredevil British influencer has died after falling from the highest bridge in Spain.
The 26-year-old digital creator is said to have jumped off the 630-foot Castilla-La Mancha Bridge in Talavera de la Reina, a 90-minute drive southwest of Madrid, early this morning over the Tagus River while climbing it to film a post on social media. stunt.
Councilor Macarena Muñoz confirmed the tragedy today and stated that access to the bridge was “totally prohibited.”

The Talavera de la Reina City Council confirms this in a statement: ‘The Councilor for Citizen Security, Macarena Muñoz, has confirmed the death of a young man after falling from the Castilla-La Mancha bridge.
“It was a 26-year-old Englishman who fell while climbing the aforementioned bridge, something that the councilor has made clear is totally prohibited and that we have reiterated on numerous occasions that cannot be done under any circumstances.”
‘The young man was accompanied by another 24-year-old Englishman.
‘As we have been able to establish, they had come to Talavera to climb the bridge and create content for social networks, which has resulted in this unfortunate and sad outcome.’
“The judge and the forensic doctor have already authorized the removal of the body, which has been transferred to the funeral home.”
An autopsy has not yet been performed.

The National Police and firefighters from the local town hall went to the scene with paramedics, but they could not save the British man.
The bridge where the incident occurred is the second highest in Europe as well as being the highest in Spain.
A spokesperson for the regional government’s emergency coordination center confirmed: “We received the first call today at 7.14am, saying that a young man had fallen while climbing the Castilla-La Mancha bridge.
“The victim, who was 26 years old, was pronounced dead at the scene.”
National Police, local police, firefighters from Talavera de la Reina and an emergency ambulance went to the scene, but the lifeguards could not do anything to save him.
The agents cordoned off the area where the social media influencer fell.
Police said last night they were not going to name the dead Briton.
A spokesman for the National Police in Toledo, the province of which Talavera de la Reina is part, said: “It was about 40 or 50 meters high, approximately a quarter of the total height of the bridge, when it fell.
“The reason for his fall is unclear and will be investigated by a local court.”
A source close to the investigation said: “Both the dead man and his surviving partner were climbing without harnesses or any other protection.”
“A passing motorist raised the alarm.

They had been using a rental car to get around.
