British Ibiza tourist loses her passport during vacation
A British tourist lost her passport during a vacation in Ibiza – just to see it on the floor when she was scrolling through photos of her night out in a night club.
Bobbie Cook, 21, from Essex, had already had to deal with cancellation and delay of flights when she misplaced the document during a week-long trip to the Spanish island last month.
But after spending four extra nights in Ibiza due to delays in obtaining an emergency passport and problems with her flight, Mrs. Cook made a surprising discovery in a photo taken the night she lost the document at Pacha nightclub.
& # 39; On the last day I was there, I looked back at all the photos I took this vacation & she said.

& # 39; I sent it to all my friends, posted it in my stories and everyone thought it was hilarious, I just don't know how I didn't open my eyes. This could all have been prevented if I had looked at the photo after I had taken it and saw my passport lying there on the floor!
& # 39; Although I was so unlucky this vacation, I had the best time and I will never forget this situation! & # 39;
The lost passport was not the first disaster in Mrs. Cook's vacation. Her trip – booked with Love Holidays – was canceled just two days before she would fly with Thomas Cook on September 25.

The Brit, who was traveling with her girlfriend Becca, had searched for last-minute flights and hotels – but the two eventually missed their connecting flight due to flight delays.
& # 39; Becca and I booked our vacation with Love Holidays and we flew with Thomas Cook & # 39 ;, she said.
& # 39; Just two days before we were to go, they sent me an email informing them that they had canceled our vacation and they will send the refund.
& # 39; I had to get a whole new hotel and flight package like a day for Ibiza and the package that we found had no direct flight, so we had to get off in Barcelona!
& # 39; And because the plane from Gatwick to Barcelona was delayed for an hour and a half, we missed our flight from Barcelona to Ibiza.
& # 39; So we told the airline we flew that it wasn't our fault and they put us on the next plane, but that was five hours later! We had to wait another five hours at the airport! We have had bad luck! & # 39;
After arriving on the Spanish island, a disaster struck when Mrs. Cook and her friends went to a club called Pacha for a music event – and she realized that her passport was missing.
Panicked, she started looking in her bag and looking everywhere, but it was nowhere to be found.
Mrs. Cook said: & # 39; On the second night we went to a club called Pacha to see an event called & # 39; Music On & # 39 ;. We both had such a good time, we even met these girls there who we met at the airport.

The Briton stranded in Ibiza while the British consulate processed her emergency passport
& # 39; As the night progressed, I kept checking my bag and I told Becca that I could not find my passport, but she kept telling me that it is probably at home.
& # 39; I continued to retract my steps and check the toilets, lost property, asked behind the bar and looked around at the exact place where we took pictures and I couldn't find it at all!
& # 39; I probably spend most of my night finding it. Becca kept telling me it's probably back at the hotel, so it makes no sense to worry, but the only thing I could think about was how to get home. I am leaving in four days! & # 39;
Mrs Cook applied for an emergency passport on Friday, but had to wait four days because the British consulate did not process any documents at the weekend – meaning she would miss her return flight on Monday.
She said: & # 39; I filled out an online application for an emergency passport the next day and then called the office to ask when it will be ready. The woman told me that I will miss my flight on Monday because the passport needs two working days to arrive.
& # 39; I was so scared that I didn't know how to make it on my own! Becca wanted to stay with me, but she couldn't, because it was vital that she went home for work because she already had too much free time.
& # 39; Fortunately, one of my other friends I knew from home said she would stay with me, which lifted an enormous weight off my shoulders, at least I knew she would help me. I would have been useless myself.
The unfortunate tourist was then forced to stay two more nights after being told that there was a payment problem on her ticket when she tried to check in for her re-scheduled flight
The bewildered Brit posted her test on Twitter after she found her passport in the photo
& # 39; I continued to enjoy Ibiza until Tuesday evening, we changed hotels from San Antonio to Platja d & # 39; and Bossa and booked flights for Tuesday evening, annoyingly they cost another £ 340! & # 39;
Despite a lengthy stay in Ibiza, Mrs. Cook was more than willing to go home on Tuesday evening when a new ordeal struck.
Mrs. Cook checked in at the airport when staff told her there was a payment problem with her ticket, which meant she could not board the plane.
She said: & # 39; When we tried to check in, one of the ladies from easyJet said that there had been a payment problem and that we could not get on our flights. We felt hopeless. We just wanted to go home.
& # 39; We tried to ask if we could refund to get on the flights and they said it was full and there were no flights until Friday.
& # 39; We were in a panic to say the least. Fortunately, easyJet paid us back, but we had to go all the way back to Bossa and check in at another hotel.
& # 39; We didn't really party much because we just wanted to go home.
& # 39; We went out on Wednesday and had a really good time, even though we were stranded in Ibiza for four more nights. & # 39;
