A British man has been accused of raping his son’s friend in a Magaluf hotel and faces up to nine years in prison if convicted.
Lawyers for the 43-year-old man failed to reach a plea deal with state prosecutors in a Mallorca court on Thursday.

The older man, who has not yet been identified, allegedly tried to flee Magaluf but was detained by police at the airport.
