Photographs of serial killers and a “first date kit” showing a gun, rope and conduit found in the phone of a torture-obsessed woman have been revealed in court.
Scarlet Blake, accused of murdering Jorge Carreño, had a collage of nine female murderers, including Casey Anthony, accused of murdering her three-year-old daughter in Floridaand Andrea Yates, who drowned her five children.
The image was downloaded to the 25-year-old’s phone along with an image titled “First date with me” which showed images of duct tape, a knife, rope and a gun.
Police found the footage and other images of strangulation on one of two phones used by Blake when she was arrested in August 2023. She is alleged to have stalked and killed Carreño, 30, in July 2021.
Four months before his death, Blake live-streamed killing a cat and putting it in a blender, taking inspiration from the hit Netflix series ‘Don’t F*** with Cats’, the trial heard.

Blake downloaded this collage of nine female murderers, including Casey Anthony, accused of murdering her three-year-old daughter in Florida, and Andrea Yates, who drowned her five children.
An image titled ‘First date with me’ showing images of duct tape, a knife, rope and a gun was also downloaded onto the 25-year-old’s phone.
Other photographs seized and shown to the jury included a photograph of a handmade garote with two metal handles and piano wire.
The court was also shown an image showing a bed with the message “bruise my oesophagus” written in flower petals and someone wearing a T-shirt saying “you’re cute, kill me”.
The 25-year-old sat impassively in the dock as the killer collage was shown to the jury at Oxford Crown Court on Tuesday.
Also read was a video of Blake strangling his ex-partner with a rope and extracts from graphic messages he exchanged with his ex.
The defendant’s DNA was found on the top of a bottle of vodka found at the scene where Mr Carreno’s body was found, Oxford Crown Court heard.
The jury was shown a photograph of the red screw cap on a bottle of Smirnoff vodka.
They were told that, as part of the evidence agreed between the prosecution and the defense lawyer, the vodka cap was found on the river bank while the 30-year-old victim found the bottle in the water.
Other photographs seized and shown to the jury included a photograph of a handmade garota with two metal handles and piano wire.

The jury at Oxford Crown Court was also shown a photo of someone wearing a T-shirt saying “you’re cute, kill me”.
This image from a Reddit post, in which a user urges people not to trust “people like me” was also shown in court.
A comic strip was shown during Blake’s trial, which appears to show a person cleaning while talking about obtaining evidence.
The prosecutor said there was “strong support that some of the DNA came from the defendant.”
They also heard that Blake admitted that he was with Carreño for almost 30 minutes as they walked through the streets of Oxford in the early morning hours of July 2021.
Additionally, as part of the agreed evidence, the court was informed that she had pleaded guilty to destroying a cat without legal permission.
Details of the dissection and murder of a cat called Starlet, who Blake was told had admitted to the murder in November 2023, were also read to the jury.
The dark brown cat belonged to Blake’s neighbor who lived on the same street in Oxford and had adopted him from a rescue shelter in 2007.
Extensive audio of the cat’s killing was played in court, with the song ‘True Faith’ playing in the background as Blake cuts the animal with a scalpel knife.
The song was featured in the Netflix series ‘Don’t F*** with Cats, a documentary about serial killer Luke Magnotta, one of Canada’s most infamous killers.
He had filmed himself suffocating kittens and was pursued by animal lovers, outraged by the murders he had posted on the Internet.
Magnotta is serving a life sentence for the 2012 murder of computer technician Lin Jun.
The prosecution’s lawyer at Oxford Crown Court said a vet determined the animal had suffered for three minutes or more when its heart was cut out while it was still alive.
Later, they put the animal in a blender while Blake livestreamed the murder to a friend.
Blake’s voice can be heard in the audio as he dissects the animal.
In one excerpt Blake can be heard saying: “My hands are shaking… I love it… look at that little bastard, I’m pretty sure he’s still alive.” ‘
The judge told the jury they would not have to watch the video.

Chilling security cameras played in court on the fourth day of the murder trial showed Blake leading his victim to her death in July 2021.
The film showed Blake walking alongside Mr Carreño as they headed to a beautiful Oxford spot known as Parsons Pleasure, where his body was later found in the River Cherwell. Mr. Carreño’s body was found floating in the river the next day.
His death was initially thought to have been accidental or suicidal and remained unsolved for two years.
But following a complex investigation by Thames Valley Police, Blake was charged with her murder.

Detective Sergeant James Macro of Thames Valley Police was questioned over extracts of messages Blake had exchanged with his ex-partner by prosecutor Alison Morgan KC.
Messages included ‘Fuck I need blood, what if I’m bipolar?’ and ‘P**** I kill people because my lover said she would be hot… The last time I found someone that drunk, she died. ‘
The court was told Blake sent a coat he allegedly wore on the night of the murder to a woman in the United States.
DS Macro told the jury that the exact location where the body was found was never made public, but Blake sent a photo near where the body was found to a friend in the United States.
Members of Carreno’s family cried in court when a video of Blake strangling a former partner with a thin rope was later shown in court.
The woman, who is naked, passes out before recovering and Blake kisses her.
On the bed you can see a leopard print bathrobe chord. Prosecutors said Blake took a selfie wearing a leopard-print shoelace before going out to kill Carreno.
Proceedings on the fourth day of the trial were briefly halted after a juror expressed fears they might be “influenced or intimidated” after seeing a leopard-print bathrobe outside court on Friday.
The juror passed a note to the judge saying he hoped the garment was not an attempt to influence or intimidate the jury.
Judge Martin Chamberlain said this was probably a coincidence.
Police found the images and others of strangulation on one of two phones used by Blake when she was arrested in August 2023, Oxford Crown Court heard.
In opening their case against Blake, prosecutors said she had an “extreme interest in death and harm.”
Alison Morgan KC said: ‘It was an interest that went beyond mere fantasy. She described herself to others as someone who derived sexual gratification from the thought of violence and death.
‘Videos of her with one of her partners performing acts of strangulation, consensually, in a sexualized context.
‘She talked to others about what it would be like to kill someone.
“He viewed images and saved them to his devices that showed interest in the application of ligatures around the neck.”
‘There is a fascination with ligatures for sexual gratification.
“Whatever the fascination with the robe was, it must have been in her head and led her to take a selfie just an hour or so in that robe before she found Mr. Carreño.”
Blake denies murder and the trial continues.
