A British astrophysicist is missing on a Greek holiday island while on vacation with her Cypriot partner.
Dr. Natalie Christopher, 34, born in London but now living in Cyprus, disappeared Monday morning on the Aegean island of Ikaria.
Her partner, 38, told local media that she had gone jogging at 8 am before their flight home and that he called her at 9:30 am and she answered.

He told Protothema News that she told him that she was jogging up a hill on a rocky spot on the island and promised she would be careful.

But when she did not return at 11 am, he was worried and informed the landlord of the property that the couple was renting, who then called the police.
The landlord said the woman's phone rang, but nobody answered.
