Britain’s oldest male stripper has revealed she often gets booed at hen parties if he doesn’t strip completely naked.

Mike Stratton, 56, from Wigan, appeared on This Morning today to discuss whether striptease has become a thing of the past.

He strutted onto set confidently in a radiant white sailor suit, while Alison Hammond unbuttoned his shirt.

Mike, whose real name is Michael Parkinson, has been stripping since he was 18 and came across a job ad for it. Since then he has 36 years of experience in the industry and calls himself “the hustler.”

His comments come after a bachelor and bachelorette party organizer said no male strippers were booked for a bridal party all of last year.

They said the number of amateur butlers had fallen by almost 70 percent, and that people found real-life striptease “overwhelming” and opted for quieter parties such as mini-golf.

But Mike said, “I tend to prefer to go all the way.” Because if you don’t, they boo you. When I started we never used to do it.

‘When we were working for Dreamboys it was acceptable to bow and cheer at the end, but once Full Monty came out it was expected.

“Even today, if you don’t do it, you tend to get booed.”

She told the show that a woman once hosted a bridal shower and specifically told her not to get completely naked because the bride-to-be was “very shy” and “wouldn’t like it” because her mother would be there.

However, when he finished the concert without doing the full Monty, much of the bachelorette party booed him for not showing his entire body.

Alison and Dermot O’Leary asked viewers for their opinion on the strippers and many said they thought it was “in bad taste”.

One wrote: ‘My friend sent the stripper to her hen do over 20 years ago. She was mortified and didn’t want him near her. Absolute shame!’

Another said: “If my friends caught me with a stripper, I’d disappear faster than you could say ‘kill me now!'”

A third wrote: “Strippers are just tacky.”

Event planner Liz Taylor seemed to agree with the audience, as she appeared on the show to say she doesn’t actively recommend strippers when hosting a hen party.

“To me, individual stripper grams are intimidating,” he said.

‘It’s not my bag and it’s not something I would propose to a client who is having a bachelorette party.

“I went to see Magic Mike in Las Vegas and it’s cool and fun, but to me it’s very intimidating, it’s very direct.”

She said that if her client wanted a stripper granny, she would point him in the direction of a naked butler, since they don’t get completely naked.

Mike previously spoke to FEMAIL in early January and said demand for him to do the Full Monty is stronger than ever and he is particularly popular with “grannies” who will try to “rip off his clothes”.

When asked if the stripping industry is more “tame” today, he responded: “Not at all.” Ladies nights are as raucous as ever.

“Now they want more: if you do a butler job, in the past you just stood there and took photos with the girls.”

‘You can walk around filling people’s glasses or giving them canapés, or sit on the door offering glasses of champagne to girls.

‘Nowadays they want you to do all that, plus play with girls. Then at the end they always say, “Oh, couldn’t you do a quick strip for her because it’s her birthday?” That’s why they expect a lot from the price of a butler.

The games include passing a balloon between two rows of girls without touching it with their hands. Others involve teams coming up with as many sexual positions as they can.

In fact, the father of three is particularly popular with older women and even attended someone’s 80th birthday party.

He said he especially likes organizing events for retirees, since they are not limited by his demands.

Mike continued: ‘Let’s put it this way, they’re not shy. You think you’re going to pick up a grandma and you think she’s going to be okay and then she’s trying to rip your clothes off!

‘The younger ones can be a little shy. But if they are in a wheelchair, even better!

‘If I call someone from the public, I always try to get a pensioner because it’s a lot more fun than getting a pretty girl. If you raise a grandmother, it’s always good to laugh.
