Sydnie Christmas is one of the favorites for Sunday’s final of Britain’s Got Talent after she wowed the judges with her incredible performance in the semi-final.
However, even if she pockets the £250,000 prize, the singer has insisted she will return to her normal job at the gym.
speaking to MirrorSydnie, 28, revealed she will go to work on Monday morning regardless of the outcome as she needs the money.
She joked: ‘I’ve already been off for two weeks and I have a zero-hours contract. I have to pay the rent!’
Sydnie, who grew up playing rugby in Kent, has always dreamed of being a West End star and hopes BGT will be the start of that journey for her.

Revealing how nervous she was, she admitted: “My voice coach had to walk me on stage because I was so nervous. I’m so glad it didn’t seem like that because I was terrified.”
After her performance, the four judges quickly stood up to applaud Sydnie.
Amanda said: ‘I have to sit down, I thought I was going to pass out during that. Honestly, Sydnie, when we saw your audition, a lot of people came up and stopped me.
“And tonight you did even better, I just can’t believe your ability, your fire and your strength.”
Bruno added: “I can’t believe it. The way he hits the high note, playing it with so much power and clarity. It was impressive, impressive.”
