Britain’s Got Talent viewers were left baffled when the audience appeared to boo judge Bruno Tonioli as the final began on Sunday night.
Ten artists will battle it out at the end of the show to win the £250,000 prize and the chance to perform at the Royal Variety Performance.
But when the episode began on ITV and Ant and Dec introduced judges Bruno, Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden, Bruno seemed to get a less than positive reaction from the crowd.
In fact, after the first act performed by Haribow, a group from Double Dutch, while Bruno was trying to give his opinion, the boos were heard again.

However, others pointed out that they could have simply been chanting his name Bruno.
One wrote: ‘They don’t boo him, they chant Bruno!’
‘I think they’re saying. Bruno Bruno Bruno… but it sounds like Boo haha.’
Currently singer Sydnie Christmas is the favorite to win.
The budding West End star, 28, She reached Sunday’s final after winning her semi-final with her rendition of Frank Sinatra’s My Way that wowed the judges. Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli.
Now, Ladbrokes have made Amanda’s Golden Buzzer act the heavy favorite at 2/5 to be crowned champion, with comedian Alex Mitchell next in the betting at 4/1 ahead of Abigail & Afronitaa (7/1).

Elsewhere, all other acts are currently at 12/1 or more, while Northants Sings Out and Trixy head into tonight’s final price as the outsiders of the current range at 66/1 each.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “We’ve seen some sensational acts along the way, but it all comes down to tonight’s final, where the odds suggest it will take something very special to prevent Sydnie Christmas from winning the series.”
Magician Jack Rhodes is next at odds of 12/1, opera singer Innocent Masuku is at 16/1 and jump rope group Haribow is at 33/1, along with impressionist Mike Woodhams.
Sydnie, from Kent, works as a receptionist at a local gym on a zero-hours contract and has insisted that, despite the outcome of Sunday’s show, she will return to work on Monday morning.
Speaking to The Mirror, he joked: “I’ve already had two weeks off and I’m on a zero-hours contract.” I have to pay the rent!’
Sydnie has dreamed of being able to work full-time in the West End and is hoping that BGT will be a springboard to making that dream a reality.
‘In a year, I hope to be living my dream. ‘I want to make a living doing what I love instead of rolling towels and making smoothies!’
Before her audition for BGT, Sydnie was considering turning her back on her dreams.
Sydnie said: ‘If you had told me on New Year’s Eve that this would happen in my life five months later, I would have said something to you. So I am a very happy and very lucky girl.
‘I’ve done a lot of auditions to get into the West End. They are always blows, whenever you don’t fit.
‘All my classmates have babies and are getting married. I’m still trying to pay my rent in London! So I thought in my head that since nothing was happening to me, I’ll try it one last time…and here we are today!’
The judges arrived with their usual glamour.

Sydnie appeared on the E4 show Stage School, which ran for two seasons in 2016 and 2017, showing the true struggles of students studying performing arts.
The show followed a variety of situations ranging from romantic arguments to theatrical dramas.
Sydnie has had a lot of family support during the process and her grandmothers saw her first audition at the Palladium.
And her long-time boyfriend, a fellow musical actor, Max Rizzo from Sicily.
Max is currently signed to an agency that specializes in rising stars.
