Britain’s Got Talent star Tom Ball had to get ‘used to’ the ‘pain’ of his gruelling health regime after deciding to undergo a body transformation

Former Britain’s Got Talent star Tom Ball admitted it has been “painful” to transform his body after receiving a health kick.

The singer, 26, took part in the ITV talent show in 2022 and finished second behind the winner, comedian Axel Blake.

Tom has since undergone a grueling regimen of fitness and healthy eating, and decided to get in better shape after marrying his wife Hannah Burtenshaw in October 2022.

However, Tom said he had to “get used to” the pain of working out with his personal trainer.

He told the Daily Star: “At first it was painful, but it always is, then little by little you get used to it.”

‘You find things you enjoy in the gym and that’s what I struggled with when I was old enough to go to the gym, but not recently.

‘When I went to the gym alone, I would just lift weights and use the treadmill, and I hate that.

“It’s monotonous, there’s nothing fun for me about it.

‘But my physiotherapist quickly realized that there were things I could enjoy and that was boxing.

“Like physical things.”

Tom previously spoke about his battle with type 1 diabetes.

speaking to MirrorThe singer said he hoped to share his story to help raise awareness and help other people who might be suffering.

Diabetes is a chronic condition that causes a person’s blood sugar level to be too high.

Tom has since undergone a grueling regimen of fitness and healthy eating, and decided to get in better shape after marrying his wife Hannah Burtenshaw in October 2022.

However, Tom said he had to “get used to” the pain of working out with his personal trainer.

“I have lived with this disease for a long time and was officially diagnosed when I was eight years old,” she told the publication.

He said some of his students saw him measuring their blood glucose levels one day.

They then asked him questions and pressured him to speak openly about his battle.

“But it wasn’t until my students asked me questions about it when they saw me check my blood glucose levels that I realized how important it was to talk about it and help them understand it.”
