A British man took his Lamborghini SUV for a joyride along a French beach, causing families to flee in terror.

The driver then attempted to flee on foot, but was detained by police. He was reportedly detained and taken to the police station for questioning.
According to police, he was charged with driving in a protected natural area and could face a fine of £1,200 (€1,500). He is due to appear in court within a few weeks.
