A tenant is stunned to find a ‘bizarre’ gadget in the bottom of a kitchen cabinet in her new home.
The Brisbane woman shared photos of the circular device – which had two pointed blades on one side – and asked social media users to help solve the mystery.
Some offered bizarre answers, before the object was revealed to be a jar opener.

They guessed it: “Looks like part of the revolving shelf like lazy Susan and the rest went elsewhere.”
But several others soon confirmed that the item was a jar opener.
“I have one and it works really well,” said one woman, while another called the gadget the “best thing ever.”
The opener can grip any jar or bottle lid when sandwiched between the two angled sides – whether it’s factory sealed, child resistant, or even screwed on too tight.
