Alan Jones has made a staggering profit after selling his luxury South Brisbane apartment for $1.35 million.

The former radio host, 82, bought the two-bedroom Lower River Terrace property for $200,000 in 1987, according to reports.

Thirty-six years after purchasing it, Alan has made a huge profit on the two-level, 190-square-metre investment unit after reportedly selling it last year for $1.35 million.

The stunning unit features a bright and modern white tiled living room, with huge sliding doors leading out to a covered balcony with picturesque city views.

The open plan area downstairs also has a breakfast bar separating the stylish kitchen, fitted with bright white cabinets.

Alan retired from presenting 2GB’s radio breakfast show in May 2020, after 35 years dominating the city’s airwaves and 226 consecutive ratings wins.
