Members of the public have been advised to avoid a high street in Brisbane’s CBD where a police operation is underway.
Queensland Police have said Charlotte Street will be closed between Edward Street and Albert Street in the CBD on Wednesday morning due to a ‘police incident’.
The details of what caused the street closure are not yet known, but paramedics, including intensive care, are believed to be on the scene.
Police say there is no immediate danger to nearby residents.
