A woman has died after a bus mounted a curb and crushed her during rush hour in Brisbane’s CBD.

Emergency services were called to Edward Street at 5pm on Friday to attend the accident which left a woman with life-threatening injuries.

A woman was left with life-threatening injuries after a bus ran over the curb on Brisbane’s Edward Street at 5pm on Friday.

Traffic is being diverted and drivers are urged to avoid the area.

An unspecified number of people on board the bus also suffered minor injuries.
