Brisbane-bound flight is forced to turn back after terrifying loud bang on the runway

An Air New Zealand flight bound for Brisbane was canceled seconds before takeoff due to a bird strike.

The plane was due to take off from Christchurch Airport shortly after 6am on Monday.

Passengers on flight NZ207 were told birds had struck both engines of the plane.
