Brighton starlet Julio Enciso scores superb equaliser against Manchester City

Julio Enciso scored a superb equalizer for Brighton at home to Manchester City, with Jamie Redknapp describing the strike as “Ronaldo-esque”.

After Phil Foden put City ahead, Brighton equalized in the 38th minute with a brilliant strike from Enciso.

The hugely talented youngster went for goal from 25 yards out and managed to find the top corner, prompting Redknapp to compare the strike to goals scored by Cristiano Ronaldo.

Enciso had a major impact in his first season in the Premier League and has now scored four goals in the division. His strike against Chelsea was also from a significant distance.

Speaking on Sky Sports, Redknapp said: “That’s why it’s so important that you have a goalkeeper who can play at the back. It’s Ronaldo-esque, it’s such an amazing shot, it’s as good a shot as I’ve seen in the Premier League for so long. The goalkeeper misses him from five meters, what a technique.
