The fourth installment of the acclaimed franchise is based on the book of the same name by Helen Fielding.
It follows Bridget as she struggles alone with motherhood following the tragic death of her husband Mark, played in the previous films by Colin Firth.
The much-loved character enjoys a fling with a handsome young man named Rockstar, played by One Day star Leo Woodall, 27, after the pair meet on social media.
In addition to her love story with Rockstar, the lovable diarist will also explore a romantic connection with her son’s gym teacher, Mr. Walker, played by Chiwetel Ejiofor, while also reviving her on-again, off-again relationship with Daniel (Hugh Grant).
Fans went wild over the poster, writing: ‘I’m so excited for this’; ‘I can’t wait’; ‘I just can’t wait’;
“I’m afraid of the emotions that are coming”; “Yaaaay, I can’t wait, it’s going to be amazing”; “I’m looking forward to the Firthweger, even though it’s not a big deal, hahaha.”
Radio Times added: ‘The perfect watch for Valentine’s Day.’
Despite Mark being killed off, The Mail on Sunday previously revealed that Colin will still appear in the film.

In the book series, after Mark marries Bridget, he sadly later dies while working abroad as a human rights lawyer, leaving her a widow.
After Colin’s name did not appear on the cast list, fans feared that his character would not appear at all in the fourth film.
However, in exclusive set photos taken last month, Renee is seen lovingly interacting with The King’s Speech star.
It was revealed that Colin’s return was meant to be a big surprise, and the film’s bosses were desperate to keep it a secret.
A source said: ‘Colin was always going to appear in the film, but it was supposed to be a secret.’
In the final film, 2016’s Bridget Jones’s Baby, Bridget is seen attending the funeral of her other on-again, off-again love, Daniel, played by Hugh, who is presumed dead after a plane crash but is later found alive.
Fans will have to be patient to find out if Mark will be so lucky or will simply appear in a dream sequence.
