Bridgerton’s Nicola Coughlan teases a glimpse of her gorgeous figure in a quirky black crop top and maxi skirt while promoting her new show in NYC

Nicola Coughlan cut a stylish figure as she arrived for a television appearance at the CBS studios to promote her new series Big Mood in New York City on Thursday.

The Bridgerton star, 37, showed off her gorgeous figure in a quirky black crop top that featured pleated details and a plunging neckline.

Nicola completed the outfit with a sleek long black skirt and slipped on a pair of pointy heels to show off in the studio.

The actress wore her bright blonde tresses in loose waves and accessorized with statement gold earrings.

Earlier in the day, she turned heads again in a black dress with shoulder pads and a shiny black corset-style belt while attending the US premiere of Big Mouth.

She stunned in the dress, which had a mid-slit and a deep V-neckline, and was adorned with gold earrings.

With her look, Nicola sported a bright red Arists4Ceasefire badge, which has been worn by many stars calling for an end to the conflict in Gaza.

Nicola finished her look with a dark red lip and black high heels as she posed for photos ahead of the US launch of her new comedy.

Big Mood is a Channel 4 comedy series that follows Maggie (Nicola) and Eddie (Lydia West) as their 10-year friendship is affected by work, life and mental health pressures.

The show premiered on 28 March as a double feature and all six episodes were released on the Channel 4 website. It also stars Joanna Page and Sally Phillips.

On Tuesday, Nicola stopped by Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.

Nicola hilariously gave her Bridgerton character’s alias Lady Whistledown a Real Housewives motto, saying: “I may be behind the pen, but I’m always ahead of the gossip.”

Bridgerton is known for its racy scenes and Nicola has asked the producers for a ‘PG’ version so she can enjoy the show with her mother.

It comes after Nicola revealed that Bridgerton season three will be even edgier than the previous two.

The actress previously admitted that she was initially terrified of filming sex scenes with Luke Newton, who plays her love interest Colin Bridgerton.

Nicola shared: ‘I think we’ve got the sass out of this series! I’m so excited I can’t wait.

‘It was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Luke Newton, who plays my love interest, is wonderful.

The first installment of the third series of Bridgerton, with Nicola in the title role, will premiere on Netflix in mid-May.

Nicola added: “This season is really fun and romantic, they’ve incorporated a lot of romantic comedy elements. And it’s not something to watch with the family. Take from that what you will.

‘It was terrifying. I’m an Irish woman and any Irish woman would feel like she can’t do this. And then I went and realized it’s my job, so I better do it. I had a great partner and it was scary, but really liberating. By the end I was exhausted.”

The third season of the hit regency romance, which follows the eight Bridgerton siblings trying to find love, will continue the love story of Penelope and Colin.

Phoebe Dynevor, 28, starred in the period drama’s first season, in which she participated in multiple sex scenes with actor Rege-Jean Page, 35.

In the final episode of the second season, followed by Bridgerton’s eldest son, Penelope overheard her old friend Colin’s sarcastic comments to the other gentlemen about her and decided to finally give up her unrequited feelings for him.

Big Mood ends with a double bill on Channel 4 on Thursday at 10pm and 10.30pm.
