Sharing an update, Ruby revealed that they had decided to drive to the hospital instead of waiting.
She said: ‘So I’m in the car, Alana is here. We are going well and stable. We manage to get into the car and we are going alone to Leeds General Infirmary.
Clearly in pain, she added: “Any movement is difficult. I have a nice splint here. We made a splint out of a carton of oat milk (keep it vegan) and hoped to get there safely and without too much movement. But we’re in the car and going there now, so I’m feeling very positive about it.
“Pain-wise, it’s a solid 10 out of 10 and I have no idea how I manage to keep it that real, but I’m strong as we can see.”
Ruby went on to say that a fan had warned her that she might have broken her neck before the accident happened.

“I got a comment from a fan saying, ‘Ruby, you could break your neck here, you’re not wearing the right PPE, there’s no protective mat,'” he said. ‘Well, there’s a mat, this is bouldering, you know.’ ?You only go up to about eight feet, the important thing is how you fall.
“But the nature of the climb propelled me forward, so I couldn’t land and back up, which is what I should have done.” I deleted this fan’s negative comment because I thought, ‘Oh, listen to this negative Nelly,’ and it turns out she was right!’
