Brian Austin Green and Sharna Burgess are candid about their pandemic romance.
Speaking to the Kyle and Jackie O Show on Wednesday, the 90210 alum, 47, and the Australian dancer, 35, said they were able to “connect more” due to regulations forcing them to wear face masks on their first dates.
‘For us, sitting in coffee shops and doing what we could [on dates]…it really helped us connect more,” said the father of four.

“I can’t tell you how many people I’ve looked and really interacted with.”
‘And also [we didn’t have to] hurry,” Burgess added. “Just take the time to really connect,” said the Wagga Wagga-born beauty.

In April, Burgess spoke to: Entertainment tonight about how she and Green took the time to build their relationship outside of the limelight.
“We went on four or five dates before we even kissed,” revealed the Dancing With The Stars pro. “It was really about getting to know the human being because that’s where we both stand in our lives.”
Sharna explained, “I’m not really dating for fun. I’m seriously dating.’

“It feels like yesterday when we said, ‘How is it only four weeks ago?’ and now it’s like, ‘How has it been six months?!’ It’s happened so, so fast,’ she gushed in April.
She added that embarking on a new romance had worked in their favor.
“There’s less outside distraction,” Sharna said. “It gave us time to get to know each other.”
