Glamorous mother scolded by thousands of fans for dangerous detail in holiday snapshot: ‘How dare you’
- Influencer Camila Coelho slammed about photo
- Son held on a balcony for a holiday snap
An influencer faces backlash after she posed in a holiday snap with her seven-month-old son.
Camila Coelho, who has more than 10 million followers, posed with her son Kai on a balcony overlooking the Eiffel Tower during Paris Fashion Week earlier this year.
But many of her followers were unsure of her son’s position – they warned that it was dangerous for him to balance on the edge of a balcony.
How far can you go for likes? Yes you are in Paris and yes you have a view but you don’t have to put a baby on the edge of a balcony.
“Please stop monetizing photos with your child,” one user wrote.

“This photo would have been even cuter if your child hadn’t been standing on the edge of a balcony,” one wrote.

“Please avoid holding the baby so close to the ledge, no matter how careful we are, it’s just inexplicably dangerous,” added another.
“You have him, but only for his life there is no need to lift. I’m standing on the edge of the balcony!’ wrote a third.
‘This picture makes me so nervous! Please don’t put the baby on the balcony!’ added one more.
“This picture just gave me fear, baby so close to the edge,” said one.
Some compared the photo to the infamous photo of Michael Jackson with son Bigi, which he left dangling over a balcony of a Berlin hotel room in 2002.
Despite the disparaging comments, Camilla has not removed the photo or responded to the backlash.
