Missing man Lincoln Miyamoto has been found in Rose Bay, about 10 km from his original residence.
On Monday, police enlisted the public’s help to find the 70-year-old, who was last seen at a unit on Kingsborough Way, Zetland, around 8.30am on Saturday.

After an investigation and a public appeal for help, Miyamoto was found safe and sound in Rose Bay around 7:45 p.m. Monday.
Earlier in the day, South Sydney police crime manager Phil Hallinan said Miyamoto was a Brazilian citizen who had been in Australia to visit family since January. They were concerned because he had a brain injury and could not speak English, he said.
“At this stage, his family has reported genuine concerns … he has gone out to collect some rubbish from his hotel (and) we believe he has become disoriented,” Hallinan said.
“We know he enjoys visiting Green Square train station and the East Village shopping center.”
Hallinan said the missing man was not a threat to anyone.
“Some unconfirmed sightings have surfaced and police are investigating,” he said.
Miyamoto speaks fluent Portuguese and some Japanese, and Hallinan said police needed the public to help locate him.
“Obviously yesterday’s heat, a 70-year-old man, is very hot. We just want to make sure he has enough food and water,” Hallinan said.
