  • CCTV shows bumps and rocks thrown as trains pass by at a level crossing
  • The driver is forced to make an emergency stop and call the police to end the scuffle

This is the shocking moment when a violent brawl of more than a dozen criminals erupts on railroad tracks – as passenger trains fly by just inches away.

The fight was taped in the early hours of Wednesday at a level crossing in the town of Ramos Mejia, a suburb of Argentina’s capital Buenos Aires.

The footage shows a large group of men running to the center of the train tracks before breaking out in a fight.

Obviously they hailed from bars in the area.

The criminals continue to punch even as a train rushes onto the track and passes just inches from two of them continuing their fight.

Another driver must then make an emergency stop to prevent the group from being injured, while the passengers of the train watch the brawl in amazement.

On the side of the railway, two women are seen apparently shouting that the group should end the fight.

The video ends with several agents appearing on the scene as the brawl finally breaks up and the police apparently put some suspects aside.

The driver is said to have alerted the police as soon as the train arrived in the area, but there were no reports of any arrests or serious injuries or damage other than the delay caused by the train’s stoppage.

Local media said the people fighting, about 20 people, were ending a night out from several nearby bars and clubs in the area they left shortly before the fight broke out at 7am.

There are no reports of the sanctions faced by the fighters or whether a case has been opened.
