Brassic’s Joe Gilgun grins as he steps out with a severed FOOTREST during series 4 filming in Manchester
He stars in Brassic, with his character Vinnie O’Neill who was last taken away by the police.
And actor Joe Gilgun appeared to be in good spirits when he beamed a grin while filming for the hit show’s fourth series in Manchester on Thursday.
The star, 37, even bizarrely kept a plastic bag with a severed footrest in it while shooting scenes with a rusty car.

Joe cut a casual figure for the location shoot, wearing a gray tracksuit and a lilac sweater.
He completed his transformation into Vinnie by wearing Timberland boots and also draping a white blanket over his shoulders and at one point even his head.
The star couldn’t stop laughing as he clung to the unlikely prop for the scenes and looked like he was walking away from a building with it.
Joe and an opponent were also chatting outside the brown vehicle before rushing in and jumping in, Joe gently holding the foot with one arm.

The third series of the show will hit theaters later this year. Series two ended on a cliffhanger when Vinnie confessed his true feelings for single mom Erin (Michelle Keegan) just as he was being taken away by the police.
As he was being led away, Erin, who has been dating his best friend Dylan, whispered something inaudible in his ear.
Vinnie explained his feelings and said, “I know it’s wrong, but you’re the first in the morning and you’re the last to have the night.”
He then added that he didn’t know “how to tell” how much she means to him.
On the run? The two men ran to the rusty car and jumped into it, Joe carefully holding his grizzly precious cargo under one arm.
