The widow of developer and financier Brandon Miller is being sued by a New York City landlord for failing to pay rent on her luxury apartment following her husband’s suicide.

Mak Acquisitions is demanding socialite Candice Miller shell out $195,000 to cover rent on her 737 Park Ave home from April to August, court documents reviewed by DailyMail.com have revealed.

The rent for the posh apartment was $47,000 until April, before increasing to $49,000 starting in May. The unit features five bedrooms and seven and a half bathrooms in 4,382 square feet, according to Zillow.

The lawsuit is the latest in a series of legal troubles Brandon, 43, has left his family with. Court documents show he owed nearly $34 million and had just $8,000 in his bank account when he decided to kill himself.

Diane von Fürstenberg’s net worth is said to be around $300 million, much of which comes from her famous eponymous fashion brand.

Decades after divorcing her first husband, who came from a German princely family, von Fürstenberg married media mogul Barry Diller.

The couple, who married in 2001, purchased a beachfront property, also in Miami Beach, for an exorbitant sum of $45 million in April.

It is unclear what relationship, if any, exists between Miller and the extremely wealthy couple.

Miller is known to be friends with Alexander von Fürstenberg’s wife, Alison, also known as model Ali Kay.
