A man who was allegedly bludgeoned to death by two men on handbikes has been remembered by his community as a “beautiful soul.”
Bradley Frost, 62, suffered serious head injuries after he was allegedly attacked by two men on bicycles while in his driveway on Victoria Drive, Modbury, in north-east Adelaide.
Emergency services were called shortly after 3pm on Thursday to a property following reports of an attack.
Paramedics took Mr Frost to the Royal Adelaide Hospital where he passed away the following day.
Police launched an investigation into the incident, which they deemed “not a random attack.”

Officers arrested a 32-year-old man shortly after 5 p.m. Friday for the alleged brutal assault.
He was charged with aggravated assault with serious damage and was denied bail.
The charge is expected to be upgraded to a more serious charge of murder or manslaughter following the death of the 62-year-old man.
After the news of Mr. Frost’s passing, neighbors paid their respects to the beloved local who they said was “always ready to help.”
Leonie and Micheal Fraser recounted the advertiser Mr. Frost was ‘the light’ of Victoria Drive and was like family to them.
“We are all very sad that Brad was a much loved member of the community, especially our street,” said Ms. Fraser.
“We’ve only lived here about six years and it’s been like a member of the family since we moved.”
“He was always trying to make the place better…he was the light of the street.”
Another Victoria Drive resident, Niranjan Dasari, described Mr Frost as a “gentle giant”.

Police continue to search for a second man in the alleged attack, who is described as Aboriginal in appearance with a slight build and wearing a white T-shirt, dark colored shorts and a white baseball cap.
They are asking anyone who has seen the man to contact the police.
The couple is said to have been riding handbikes between 2:45 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Thursday and traveled southwest on North East Road and south on Reservoir Rd.
There have been possible sightings of them on Victoria Drive, Montacute Road and McIntyre Road on Thursday afternoon.
