Bradley Evennett’s final picture shows him smooching up to the man accused of murdering him, Brad Foster, as family deny ‘cagefighter’ claims

A photograph shared by the victim of an alleged brutal murder shows him kissing the cheek of his alleged killer, just weeks before his death.

Bradley Evennett, 32, was allegedly killed by his close friend Bradley Fletcher, 38, on the same day the couple moved into their new western Sydney home on Annan Ave in Melonba, near Mount Druitt, Friday night.

It was reported that Evennett allegedly died as a result of a planned MMA sparring match with Fletcher as her mentor.

However, a close relative of Evennett told Daily Mail Australia he had no interest in fighting.

“He was not a cage fighter, he was not starting a career in MMA and had no intention of doing so,” they said.

“Bradley Fletcher was not his mentor at all.”

Instead, the family member says the 32-year-old died after an incident “while they were moving into their new home together.”

“There was no combat and I’m not sure where this narrative came from,” they said.

NSW Police allege Fletcher killed Mr Evennett at his new home in Melonba sometime between 5.30pm and 6.30pm on Friday, March 22.

Fletcher then allegedly drove Mr Evennett 700 meters down the street and left his body on a footpath in Georgina Cres, where it was discovered by a mother walking with her two children, who called the police.

“I passed by that area, nothing there… when I came back after 10 minutes the man was here, I saw him,” he said. nine news.

Emergency services arrived at the scene at around 8.45pm and failed to resuscitate Mr Evennett, who police said suffered “significant head and body injuries”.

A short time later, police were alerted to a nearby collision with a parked car where the driver allegedly failed to stop.

Officers attending the scene identified the car as a vehicle of interest and NSW Police alleged it was used to move Mr Evennett’s body.

Fletcher was found near the crash site, hiding in the bushes.

He was charged with murder and was formally refused bail at Parramatta Local Court on Sunday.

Evennett and Fletcher were reportedly close friends and one photo showed the couple sitting near a couch with Evennett kissing Fletcher’s cheek.

The photo was taken just seven weeks before Mr Evennett’s death.

A relative of Evennett said her family is struggling to come to terms with her death.

“He was a gentle giant… we don’t understand any of this or how it could happen to him,” they told the Daily Telegraph.

“Brad was a kind person.”

Officers were seen at the Annan Ave home on Sunday as investigations continue under the direction of Strike Force Wilty.
