Charlie previously spoke of his decision to leave EastEnders while performing on Loose Women.

He said at the time, ‘I don’t regret it. By leaving, I get to do other things. I had a great time on the show while there, but it was time to go.

‘I’ve been acting since I was four. EastEnders was a job I had when I was 18, ” he noted before adding that he has filled the time since leaving the soap with perfecting his craft.

‘I did a master’s at RADA. I’ve always wanted to go to drama school. I didn’t know how it would help me, ”he added.

Charlie previously admitted that he would never return to EastEnders, even if they resurrected his character from the dead.

He told The sun: ‘I can’t say I’ve watched EastEnders since I left. I don’t miss it because if I hadn’t left I wouldn’t be doing other shows that I prefer to do.

They sometimes bring characters to life, but even if they wanted Bradley back as a ghost, I wouldn’t take that offer.

‘I didn’t get killed, but before I started the show I always said I wanted to do four years and that was it. It was my decision to leave. ‘
