The 60-year-old movie star and his second wife, 49, bought the winery together for $28.4 million in 2011, but he sued her in 2021 after she sold her ownership stake to the Stoli Group without his approval, prompting a countersuit.
Ironically, August 23 would have marked Brad and Angelina’s 10th wedding anniversary had they not filed for divorce in 2016, just two years after tying the knot at the 35-room estate that features a chapel, moat, ancient aqueducts, pond and fountains.
The Mediterranean cypress tree that grows at Château Miraval could be seen towering over Pitt and his 61-year-old co-star as they posed for Norwegian photographer Sølve Sundsbø for the haute couture shoot.

It turns out Clooney also purchased an 18th-century chateau on a 425-acre wine estate in Brignoles, located just nine minutes away, online in 2021, but has “never been there.”
Pitt and Jolie, formerly known as “Brangelina,” are likely to avoid crossing paths at the 81st Venice International Film Festival in Italy, where both have films premiering.
The Oklahoma native and two-time Oscar winner produced and starred as lone wolf problem solvers in Jon Watts’ thriller Wolfs, which screens September 1st at the festival.
Meanwhile, the Oscar-winning actress plays legendary opera singer Maria Callas in Pablo Larraín’s 1970s-set biopic Maria, which screens at the festival three days earlier, on August 29.
Last month, Angelina’s lawyer urged Brad will be dropping his lawsuit against Château Miraval so they can “end the fight and finally put his family on a clear path to healing.”
Jolie had initially offered to settle, but reportedly disagreed with the mandatory confidentiality agreement and backed out.
The former couple, who did not sign a prenuptial agreement, have yet to settle their divorce or custody arrangements for their only minor children, fraternal twins Vivienne and Knox, 16.
