Boyfriend is arrested after his girlfriend, 45, TEN floors fell to her death in a posh hotel in Sydney’s CBD

- Crime scene has been determined and a police investigation has been launched into the woman’s death

A man has been arrested after his partner died in a fatal fall from a balcony in a posh Sydney CBD hotel.
The woman’s body was discovered on Friday around 8:00 PM after the emergency services were called to Sussex Street for reports of a fall from the Hyatt Regency hotel in Darling Harbor in the city’s CBD.
Police said on Saturday that the 45-year-old woman had fallen off the tenth floor balcony.

Sydney City Police Area Command officers and paramedics found the woman’s body on a level one roof.
She was pronounced dead on the spot. The police have not yet formally identified the woman.
It is not known whether the woman died from the fall or was previously dead.
A 48-year-old man, believed to be the woman’s partner, was arrested on the spot and taken to Day Street Police Station.
He has since been released pending further investigation.
A crime scene has been determined and a police investigation has been launched into her death.
