A 15-year-old boy is said to have smashed his own head through the back window of a police car after police detained him and a friend.

The Northern Beaches Police Area Command posted a photo of the shattered window on his Facebook page after the teenager allegedly used his head to destroy it.

According to officers, around 9 p.m. they received messages about two young people who supposedly drink & # 39; cause problems & # 39; on Howard Avenue in Dee Way, north of Sydney.

One teenager was from Cromer and the other was from Mona Vale.

According to police, the 15-year-olds owned a two-liter bottle that smelled strongly of alcohol.

& # 39; When officers said they would be taken home with their parents, the couple refused, responded screaming and aggressively, threatened the damage and refused to adhere to it. & # 39;

Agents detained one of the teenagers without further problems, but when they tried to get the second teen into the vehicle, the case quickly escalated.

The police immediately called an ambulance and the boy was taken to a nearby hospital while his parents were informed of the incident.
