And as his group’s idol, fans will remember his good looks and boyish charm, which led him to enjoy an affair with Lulu.
After reuniting with the group in 2005, he made a permanent exit in 2014 much to the chagrin of new and old fans. With his four – then three – other band members, he won eight BRIT Awards and five Ivor Novellos.
On Thursday, the musician was spotted cycling around London while looking handsome with a thick beard.

Jason was spotted cycling in London while wearing a handful of salt and pepper brand stubble and a baker’s cap.
The hunk rose to fame during the creation of Take That in 1990 and remained with the group until their split in 1996, a move that came a year after Robbie Williams’ premature departure.
Alongside Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen, the band reunited without Robbie before Jason finally left in 2014.
During their time in the group, he enjoyed numerous romances with stunning stars, including a widely rumored union with ’60s sensation Lulu, with whom the group recorded Relight My Fire.
Jason also romanced Wheel Of Fortune star Jenny Powell after they met in 1992 and remained in a relationship until 1995.
Jenny later said: “I still talk to him. In fact, I introduced my boyfriend to him recently and he got Jason’s approval. He is adorable and his mother and family are always near us. They are in Manchester.
