Boy (16) dies after being found with multiple stab wounds on Luton Street along with two other teens injured in ‘incident’ arrested over it

A 16-year-old boy has died after being found with multiple stab wounds on a Luton street.
Police have arrested two other teenagers who were injured in the incident after clambering to the crime scene in Stoneygate Road around 4pm on Tuesday afternoon.
The 16-year-old was taken to hospital with injuries, but was pronounced dead shortly after 6 p.m.

Although he has not yet been formally identified, his family has been notified.
Bedfordshire police said a teenage boy was arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the incident, after being treated in hospital for minor injuries.
A third teenage boy who suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries has been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.
Chief Superintendent John Murphy said: ‘We believe this was an isolated incident with no risk to the general public, and our community officers will be patrolling the area to reassure residents.
“We are doing what we can, but would always encourage our communities to report anything they’ve seen.
