A brave teenager fought a crocodile to save the life of his little sister after the reptile tried to drag her from a bridge in the Philippines.
Haina Lisa Jose Habi, 12, walked last Friday with her brother Hashim, 15, on the small bamboo crossing a creek in Palawan in southern Philippines.
After her brother reached the shore, the 14ft-long crocodile jumped out of the water at Hainaut and lowered his teeth into her leg.
The younger one screamed as she bit her right calf and tried to pull her into the water as she clung to her life.

Haina said she had collapsed through an opening in the handmade bridge and that the crocodile was pulling her leg.
But her brave older brother rushed to him and threw stones at the beast and then pulled his sister away from the crocodile.
Haina suffered a deep cut in her right leg and was admitted to RHU Balabac for medical treatment, according to local reports she would be in a stable state.
According to investigating police, Haina said she thought she would die when the crocodile jumped on her.
She said: & # 39; The crocodile was larger than me. I was so scared. I panicked and cried. I saw his teeth and in his mouth.

A police report from Balabac Municipal Police Station blamed the wounds for a crocodile.
Officers are now looking for the beast, which is estimated to be 14ft long and fear can strike again.
Lieutenant Colonel Socrates Faltado warned other residents to be extra careful when crossing rivers and streams.
He added: & # 39; The crocodile is a threat to residents. The young girl was lucky enough to escape thanks to the courage of her older brother. & # 39;
