Boy, 15, accused of violent knife sex attacks on four schoolgirls, all 13, in South London to face trial next month

A 15-year-old boy accused of a series of violent and sexual assaults on schoolgirls will be brought to trial next month.
The teenager, who cannot be named, is said to have attacked four girls, all 13, in the Thornton Heath area of South London in a wave of attacks between November 2019 and November 2020.
The youngster, from Croydon, appeared at a pre-trial hearing in Croydon Crown Court via video link today and has denied two charges of willful serious bodily harm, two charges of sexual assault, sexual assault by penetration, common sexual assault and robbery.

He is alleged to have stabbed one of the girls in Thornton Heath, South London, on November 4 last year at 8:50 am and struck again two days later in an almost identical attack around 8:23 am.
The first victim was stabbed in the thigh from behind while the second girl was stabbed in the arm from behind.
He is also charged with sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl in broad daylight on November 21, 2019.
On September 2, 2020, he punched a mother in the face and then sexually assaulted her 13-year-old daughter in front of her eyes by trying to take off her underwear, it is alleged.
The boy, 15, is said to have attacked four girls, all 13 years old, between November 2019 and November 2020.
He is also accused of pushing a 13-year-old girl into an alley on October 6 last year, grabbing a knife, stealing her headphones, grabbing her chest and trying to kiss her.
The teenager was arrested on November 8, 2020 after police released camera footage of the alleged attacker jogging along a residential road after the second incident.
Jason Seetal, the prosecutor, said earlier that the crimes “all convey some form of sexual overtones and show the nature of violence.”
He is currently in juvenile detention before his trial at Croydon Crown Court on April 12.
