Seven people have been hospitalized after a shooting at a festival in Boston.

The incident happened during an early morning parade as part of the Caribbean Festival in Dorchester. Police were called at 7:44 a.m. to report gunshots.

The victims were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said several arrests were made and firearms were also recovered.
